Not that I’m giving up on my iPhone, but these ads definitely (and effectively) do deliver the message about the features of the new Samsung Galaxy S2, to wit:

I received an email yesterday from PlayStation Asia about their ‘Welcome Back’ offer after their network was down for 2 months as a result of what could probably be the biggest hacking incident in history. Continue reading»
The 200+ features in iOS 5 obviously include the ability to select message (text) alert tones other than the stock tones in your iPhone.

The drawback is you have to *BUY* them through iTunes. Nevertheless, it’s a good thing you have the option to employ different message alert tones into your iPhone, to avoid getting confused with other iPhone users in the office, as to whose/which phone did make that sound alert.
As you may have known, the iOS 5 was announced in Apple’s WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference) 2011. iOS 5 comes with more than 200 new features, and the keynote highlighted the best 10 of them. I’ll be leaving the details about the top ten features with TUAW and Gizmodo.

Yet, I would like to highlight the features that I’m most excited about:
Just in time for the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) later today where the details about the iCloud and iOS 5 are expected to be announced, here’s the preview of what to expect in the new iOS 5.
And they called this video the iOS 5 magic, and it’s literally — not really figuratively, like when you’re referring to new features.
Microsoft today demoed the UI of their next-generation operating system, Windows 8.
Personally, the UI is great. It’s so full of eye-candy. But if I’m after the eye-candy, I’d rather go with the Mac. I dear hope for functionality instead, though »
This is a guest post from Raymond.
For the longest time, I had a notion that human life starts upon fertilization. I guess it is not the case anymore since the debate, contention and opposition against it has never been this strong.
I have always been a sucker for “happily-ever-after” kind of stuff that marriage is supposed to seal and usher in for lovebirds; but I guess I was just too cheesy and idealistic that the reality is that PH is the only remaining country not to have Divorce Law in place.
Life has become too complicated that we need to re-assess, re-evaluate and craft dynamic, progressive and open-minded legislation (and solutions) to guarantee utmost freedom to enjoy the best that life has to offer.
With this, I propose that we become bold enough to make do without boundaries, throw away inhibitions, be damned with constraints and be as free-spirited and free-minded as we can be – enjoy life to the hilt! Continue Reading »
Obviously, it didn’t turn out to be what I’ve been rooting for — the #thunderheat. Instead, the repeat of the 2006 NBA Finals.
This blog has been old enough to have previewed mentioned the NBA Finals 5 years ago. And this time, I’ll be on the other side of the fence. For one, Miami Heat’s head coach, Eric Spoelstra, is half Filipino.
Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks have been doing great so far in the 2011 NBA Playoffs. But I believe that the Lebron-Wade-Bosh tag team will shine even better this time — in the 2011 NBA Finals. Add that to the fact that the Heat will be enjoying the Home Court advantage in this series.
The #thunderheat could have been the most ideal NBA Finals scenario, at least as far as I’m concerned. The Miami Heat clinching the 2011 NBA Finals Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy comes second.

Google thought me, there’s such a product by the name of Thunder Heat. It’s a baseball ball, and it actually has nothing to do with the NBA 2011 finalists (cross-fingers!) #thunderheat!
