Lately, some friends were complaining about how they were receiving spam messages from my Yahoo! account via Yahoo! Messenger (YM). It was not something new as I myself received some from other friends in my contact list. It then occured to my mind that maybe my account was hacked.
Then, yesterday I couldn’t login to my YM account anymore from my favorite desktop client, Pidgin. It tells me that logging in from the web with the same account may diagnose the problem. Continue reading
I’ve known a person or two who always log in into Yahoo! Messenger in an invisible mode. I don’t trust those type of persons (hehe, peace! whoever you are). XEEBER is an online application that can detect invisible users on Yahoo! Messenger. Now you can’t hide from me anymore! 🙂

Checking out further, however, my other Yahoo! Mail accounts are not yet upgraded with these features. As what Yahoo! mentioned in its blog, they will be rolling out these features over a few months, so it will hit each account one by one. You just have to wait and check your inbox regularly.
So, what do I think of these new developments? I think it’s cool! Any further comments? No! :LOL:
