Was trying to log in to the Life At 5 Mbps website earlier, and I was greeted by this banner in the homepage:
By the way, the homepage I’m referring to is now redirected to consumable.skybroadband.com.ph.
It appears that Sky Broadband is now offering double the 5Mbps I’m currently subscribed to — at 10Mbps, but at a P300.00 premium, or a total of P1,299.00 per month. But check out the speeds I’m actually getting »
In the light of the new price scheme offering from Sky Broadband, the 5Mbps at P999, I tried testing my current speed with my subscription with Sky Broadband.
Their website has this utility to test your speed, and here’s my result:
It says I’m running at 1.47Mbps downstream and 0.47Mbps upstream. Check out the result of another test though »
Here I am agonizing over another crappy internet service from Smart 3G because Skycable‘s ZPDee sucks bigtime! At least with the former I have connection.
According to ZPDee’s contact page, you can contact them 24/7 using their hotline 631-0000. But try calling them at night, and you’ll get into an answering machine telling you to wait for the next available agent. I would rather have preferred to have been told to leave at once. For me, this is just bloody misrepresentation!
They also have an SMS contact number at 0917-631-0000 (i.e., if you’re using Globe), but don’t bother texting them, you’ll just put your credits into waste.
