Adventures at Manila Ocean Park

I was playing with Apple’s iMovie app in my iPhone yesterday, and I found an option to create movies from Trailer templates. So I tried, and I had a few clips from our Manila Ocean Park trip last February lying around.

This movie I created for like 30 minutes or so only with my iPhone 5S and the iMovie app. Here goes:

Turf BGC

I hope they could reinstate the Turf BGC football field after the damage from typhoon Glenda in July 2014. It was a staple attraction here at Bonifacio Global City.

Visita Iglesia 2013 — A Walkathon Around Makati

It was a little over 10K walkathon for me this Good Friday as I visited seven (7) churches around and about Makati’s business district.

The route I took is as follows:

  1. St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 4927 Enrique St., Palanan
  2. San Ildefonso Parish, A. Arnaiz Ave. cor. M. Reyes St., Pio del Pilar
  3. St. John Bosco Parish, A. Arnaiz Ave. Cor. Amorsolo St., P.O. Box 1336, M C P O
  4. Sts. Peter And Paul Parish, 5539 D.M. Rivera St., Poblacion
  5. St. Andrew The Apostle Parish, N. Garcia And Neptune Sts., Bel-air II
  6. Holy Cross Parish, 211 J. P. Rizal St.
  7. National Shrine Of The Sacred Heart Of Jesus, Sacred Heart St. (formerly Dao St.), San Antonio Village

I actually planned and mapped in advance the locations and routes in Google Maps:

You may check out the map in Google Maps.

I had my Canon Powershot G15 with me and here are the pictures I took to document the day: …

Sisig Was It?

Was craving for Sisig yesterday, so I ordered one from Sisig Hooray at Cash & Carry here in Makati:

Now, for P55.00 I don’t actually know what I just paid for the most: the pork, chicharon or onion. It ain’t even rice (’twas like half of a regular serving). …

World Chicken Dinner

Had dinner at the World Chicken in Glorietta 4 foodcourt last night. And it struck me that the usual long queue at the counter during that time of the night is now completely devoid.

Could possibly be because of the currently running promo over at Max’s about Chicken-All-You-Can eh?

The pictures above were taken with nothing special, my Samsung Omnia Pro GT-B7330 smartphone.

Serenity and Peace

Imagine that deep blue sky, the white cotton clouds, the beach with the powder-fine sand, a lazy late-afternoon walk along the beach lines–miles away from the busy life in Makati.

It could only be perfect!

Travelogue Series: Coron, Palawan

What made this trip more fun, beside the photo op, was that I was in the company of 16. Just imagine the constant laughter throughout the duration of the tour.

The tour package for a group this size with Coron Village Lodge amounted to P4,400 each person inclusive of meals, snacks, boat rentals, entrance fees, tour guides and transportation (including airport van transfer).
