Just noticed this button when I checked the Facebook app in my iPhone yesterday:

So it appears Facebook Places is now available for the iPhone App in my region.

Now Facebook Places can surely pose a real competition to FourSquare. But I don’t think the former has mayorships and badges just like the latter.

Yet, I wonder if Facebook Places is available to Android phones as well. To Android users, kindly advise via the comments below.
