At 3.5-inch display, it’s as big as the iPhone 4’s – though graphics may not necessarily be as crisp as the latter uses the Retina Display. Yet, at P14,990, who could resist this offer?

Unless you got the unit from a network provider, it sure be network unlocked. Plus, it’s Android — much said. I just wonder why only Froyo when Gingerbread is now all over the place.
PhoneArena did a review of the Samsung Galaxy Ace, and they found this thing had a low call quality. I don’t know, it maybe that they got the prototype version — not the finished product, as one commentator pointed out. For the other cons of the review — for low video quality, what do you expect from a mid-range phone? For No Flash and No DivX/Xvid codec support out of the box, well they are after all available in the Android Marketplace.

Conclusion
If I did not have the iPhone 4, I would happily settle with the Samsung Galaxy Ace. For less than half the price of the iPhone 4, I sure could go a long way with this device. I’m sure I’ll be able to put it to good use.
