Frankly, I’m excited about the ChromeBook, a notebook powered by Google Chrome OS. I’m just quite disappointed I thought it was something I could easily install at my old Asus Eee PC 701 — to bring it to life.
Yugatech was arguing that the Chromebook will fail here in the Philippines. One reason given was the reliability (or the lack thereof) of internet service providers in the country. My take, if there’s a will to connect to the web, there’s a way. Can you imagine the number of cellphone (even smartphones at that) users who opt not to use internet data from their devices because of ignorance?
