On LBJ Jumping Ship

MJ, Magic and Larry Legend are really a different breed belonging to a different generation. We can’t totally fault LBJ because he’s just being himself. He’s too self assured (even without a ring at that) that he can afford to jump ship and think that it doesn’t diminish anything at all.

Fearless Forecast: It’s a ‘Deja Vu’

Fearless forecast: it’s going to be a repeat of the 2008 NBA Finals, in this year’s battle for the crown. New faces, new talents, but they’d better watch out for the dazzling Rajon Rondo. In a few hours, Game 1 between the—

The ‘Hangtime’ Move by Deuts Ambuscade

Deuts Ambuscade is Brewing Coffee in the Air. Wearing jersey no. 8, Deuts Ambuscade of the San Antonio Spurs gets past three defenders in this impressive move to the basket. Okay, not to confuse with the real life NBA, this was just—

Michael Jordan: The Greatness of his Airness

Another guest post from Mon. Below is the text of the same exact email I sent to airjudden. In his/her website, he extensively chronicled points as to why Michael Jordan (MJ) can’t be considered the greatest ever. He shares valuable points and—

Celtics and Lakers, Reliving the Rivalry

I initially wagered for a Celtics-Spurs NBA Finals. But unfortunately the other day, the Lakers beat the Spurs to advance to the 2008 NBA Finals. Eventually, my reason for looking forward to an exciting NBA Finals started to dwindle. But today I—

The Celtics Up for the Challenge?

At the rate at which the current Boston Celtics is going (29-3, or 90.6% winning percentage), it is very much likely that it will beat Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls record of 72-10 (72 wins and 10 losses, 87.8% winning percentage) in 95-96 season.

Gilbert Arenas Loves NBA Live 2008

NBA Live 2008 Gilbert ArenasSo once they started getting out of character it was like they weren’t progressing with the game so I became a 2K fan and then now I’m back to LIVE and I think all the 2K fans are going to come back to LIVE again because they’re going to see they made progress. It’s a lot smoother. It’s not as choppy as it used to be. It’s realer now. It’s not like, “Oh, this is fake. That doesn’t happen.”

Kevin Garnett to Boston

Now, I’m wondering what Sherwin has to say about this: BOSTON, July 30 (AP)– Kevin Garnett is leaving Minnesota after the Boston Celtics agreed to acquire the All-Star forward in a multiplayer trade with the Timberwolves, a Celtics official told The Associated—

Kobe Bryant Trade Possibilities

Kobe BryantBy now, you might have already read the news about Kobe Bryant announcing he wants out of LA Lakers. The big question now is, where?

Bill Simmons of ESPN discusses the Seven trade possibilities for Kobe. It’s an interesting article and fun to watch out for….

NBA Draft Lottery Conspiracy

The second contribution from Sherwin, the Deloitte-Philippines Global Development Programme (GDP) participant to Boston, Massachusetts, USA:

Boston CelticsI can’t believe that the Celtics didn’t get any of the top 2 picks! This is an outrage! Boston had the second worst record in the league and they only got the 5th pick. Celtics fans have been hurting for so long, I felt their pain when I was in Boston. Everybody there was expecting a top 2 pick. Boston must be mourning right now. They haven’t recovered from the heartbreak they suffered 10 years ago when they lost to the Spurs in the 1997 Lottery. They had the worst record that year. First Duncan, now Oden/Durant. My heart is broken. The 2008 season is already a lost cause.

A Glimpse at the NBA Playoffs
