I was trying out the MS Office apps (Excel, Word, and Powerpoint) on my brand new shiny iPhone 6s Plus today, and I found they’re nifty little applications that can surely help in some ‘office works’ while on the go.
Downloading from the Apple App Store was free — that was impressive! But here’s the catch: after burning up bandwidth with all the downloads (each app amounts to 500+ MB), I discovered you can only view as ‘Read Only‘ the documents but not edit or create them, unless you pay for an Office 365 subscription which starts at $5.99 per month. Now, that’s one big real BUMMER!
